The Ikhaya garden is an organic food gardening and sustainable living project situated at Isikhokelo Primary School in Site C, Khayelitsha, Cape Town. Change-maker Xolisa Bangani founded the gardening project in 2013 to get young people involved as well as creating environmental awareness in his community. With the help of our investor, The Real Thing Supplements and Urban Harvest it has become a thriving garden and one to be proud of.
